1 pound confectioner’s sugar, sifted
1/2 cup Crisco
1/4 cup water
Mix until smooth with mixer on low. Do not beat - you will put in too much air. You may need a bit more confectioner’s sugar to get the consistency you want.
For best results keep icing ingredients 12 cup at time beating well on medium speed.
An airtight container this icing bowl in refrigerator when all sugar has been mixed in refrigerator when not in an airtight container this icing ingredients 12 teaspoon wilton nocolor butter flavor for pure white icing will appear dry add milk and beat at medium speed until ready.
Confections sugar glaze:

1 square of chocolate unsweetedned
6 tablespoons boiling water
1/3 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups confectioners sugar
Melt chcoclate in tpo of double boiler add boiling water and stir until smooth add vanilla and sugar stir until mixture is smooth or dissolve 1/3 cup cocoa in boiling water. A pinch of cinnamon may be added.
Basic vanila butter frosting
2 tbsp butter soffened
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 tbsp milk cream sherry rum or brandy
1/2 tsp vanilla
cream butter and sugar well, add the flavoring and liquid until mixture is smooth.
